Education:
2010-2012 Gerrit Rietveld Academy/ Sandberg institute in Amsterdam. Completed an MA in Applied Arts with Honors; 2003-2007 Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, Department of Ceramic Design and Glass. B.F.A. Degree. Majored in Glass, with Minor in Sculpture; 2005 Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) on foreign student exchange program (first semester).

Awards and Honors:
2012 “Student Profile: Netta Bacon” published in the Glass Art Society newsletter (Issue 22); 2010 Pilchuck Glass School (USA) Selected for the Pilchuck Emerging Artist in Residence (EAiR) Program, from September through November; 2009 Featured Artist, New Glass Review 30 by the Corning Museum of Glass; 2008 Corning Glass School (USA). Received a scholarship from the Aida organization for summer studies at Corning. Studied sandblasting and painting on glass, under Denise Leone; 2007/8 Awarded scholarship from the American-Israel Cultural Foundation(AICF) for glass and ceramic design; 2005 Pilchuk Glass School (USA). Received scholarship for summer studies at Pilchuk. Studied glass techniques using the kiln (“kiln forming”), under Jeremy Lepisto and Mel George. Selected as outstanding student in the course.

Received AIDA fellowship to the Corning Museum of Glass
